ARTIST STATEMENT
As a species, we constantly discover innovative ways to express ourselves through diverse mediums and methods. While the concept of expression has existed since the first smile, tear, kiss, and caress, technology has played a significant role in recording and, to some extent, replicating our understanding of those profound moments.
Drawing inspiration from this ideology and employing a techno-infused style, Jason Scuderi / Lasergun Factory creates artwork that explores the profound connection between humanity and technology. This includes themes such as artificial intelligence, social integration, religious perspectives, political influences, psychological beliefs, and cultural movements. With a focus on contemporary figurative, abstract, minimalist, pop, and surrealist aesthetics, his work showcases the dynamic interplay between humans and the ever-evolving technological landscape.
